2021-2022 School Year

Northmount School is full in planned classes in:

Mainstream - Kindergarten, Grade 3, Grade 4 and Grade 5

Cogito - Kindergarten to Grade 6

We will now only accept resident students in Kindergarten, Grade 3,  4 or 5 who have moved into the school’s attendance area after the pre-enrolment deadline for the mainstream program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

If you are registering for Kindergarten or if you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.

You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens between March and April each year.

If you have questions about registering for school, contact the school office 780-475-5162

COGITO – new student registration

Students new to Edmonton Public schools can submit a registration package online and complete the Cogito Application.

Current students in an Edmonton Public School looking to register in the Cogito program can pre-enroll in SchoolZone between March 8 - April 14 and complete the Cogito Application

Following the close of pre-enrolment at 4 p.m. on April 14, should there be more Cogito applications than there is space, the school will follow a random selection process.

We will not be holding Meetings for Success this year because schools are following public health guidelines that include limiting in-person meetings.

Returning Cogito student registration

Families of returning Cogito students are encouraged to pre-enrol through SchoolZone beginning March 8, 2022 and before April 14, 2022, for the upcoming school year.
