NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school. 

 

PRE-ENROLMENT AND REGISTRATION UPDATE

Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the March 25, 2026 deadline to help our school get ready for the next year!

 

We had more requests than available space in our Cogito Program, which means new students will be chosen by Random Selection. If your child was pre-enrolled for the Cogito Program you will be notified about the results by April 17, 2026. If you haven't heard from us April 17, 2026 please call us. 

 

For all students who pre-enrolled in the Regular Program Northmount school is a level 2 on the growth control model for the 2026-2027 school year. During pre-enrolment we will only accept registrations for students who reside in our attendance area or have a sibling who is currently attending Northmount. We have accepted those students who have pre-enrolled with us that live in our attendance area or have a sibling currently attending our school, we will not be contacting you.

 

Waitlist for the Cogito Program 2026-2027

We will be maintaining a waitlist for the Cogito Program. This means that if space becomes available after the close of pre-enolrolment on March 25, 2026, we will contact families on the list. The list will be maintained until Sept 29, 2026 after this date any vacant spaces will remain unfilled.

There is no waitlist for our regular program, during pre-enrolment we will only accept students in our regular program that live in our attendance area or students with siblings who are currently attending Northmount.
